Description

Digedryl is a medication intended for the treatment of digestive disorders. Its active ingredients facilitate the production of bile by the liver and its secretion by the intestine. It is recommended in the treatment of difficult digestions in adults.

Difficult digestion, or “functional dyspepsia”, is a feeling of heaviness or bloating, “overflow” of the stomach sometimes accompanied by pain in the upper abdomen. These problems occur mainly during or after meals. Difficult digestion can be accompanied by burping, or “belching”, which can also relieve the person.
In practice, the functional dyspepsia syndrome includes all the states of discomfort and discomfort in the region of the belly above the navel (“epigastric region”), but there are significant overlaps with the functional disorders of the bowel or “irritable bowel syndrome”.

Directions for use:

It should be dissolved in half a glass of water.

Usual dosage:

Adult: 1 tablet before each of the 3 meals or at the time of pain.

Composition:

Active substances:
anhydrous sodium sulfate: 54mg
Anhydrous sodium dihydrogen phosphate: 132mg
For an effervescent tablet

The other components are:
sodium benzoate, anise essential oil, tartaric acid, anhydrous citric acid, sodium bicarbonate.
1 tablet contains 470 mg sodium.

Precautions for use:

Never take Digedryl effervescent tablet in the following case:
Allergy to active substances or to any of the components.

If in doubt, it is essential to seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

Use with caution :

• In case of obstruction of the bile ducts or severe liver disease

• If you are on a salt-free or low-salt diet, take the sodium content into account (470 mg per tablet)

• In case of diarrhea or abdominal pain, stop treatment and consult your doctor.

• In case of doubt do not hesitate to ask the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking or using other medications.

To avoid possible interactions between several drugs, you must systematically report any other treatment in progress to your doctor or pharmacist.
