Description

Maalox – stomach pain, is a drug containing locally acting antacids. They work by neutralizing the acids secreted by the stomach. It is indicated in adults (from 15 years) in heartburn and acid reflux.

Reserved for adults.

 

Composition:

Aluminum hydroxide 400mg, magnesium hydroxide 400mg.
Excipients: mannitol, 3% starch powdered sucrose, sorbitol, sodium saccharin, powdered mint flavor (limonene, menthone, isomenthone, menthyl acetate, neomenthone, menthol), magnesium stearate, sucrose for direct compression.
Excipients with known effect: sorbitol, sucrose.

Dosage:

1 to 2 tablets of Maalox anti-acid tablets per intake to suck or to chew at the time of the pains, without exceeding 6 taken per day is 12 tablets per day.
The duration of use is limited to 10 days.

Contraindications:

• Allergy to any of the components
• Kidney failure (due to the presence of magnesium)

• Oral use
